ROOFIE DRINK TESTING KIT

Rophynal or “Roofies”  (other street names include:  R2, Roofenol, Roche, Roachies, La Rocha, Rope, Rib, Circles, Mexican Valium, Roach-2, Roopies, Ropies, Forget Pill, Trip-and-Fall and Mind Erasers.) This drug affects judgment and behavior, and can put a person at risk for unwanted or risky sexual activity. This category of drugs are called Benzodiazepines or BZOs. 

Once a drink or food is spiked with “Roofies”, the effects can start in approximately 15 to 30 minutes and last 3 to 6 hours. 

The Roofie Drink Testing Kit is a rapid visual tool for the qualitative, presumptive detection of benzodiazepine in suspicious substances (liquids or powders) at the cut-off concentration of 300 ng/mL. Easy to use with detailed instructions for testing both liquid and powder samples.

  • A negative result can be interpreted as soon as both the test (T) and control (C) lines appear. A positive result can be interpreted once the control line has appeared and the background has cleared to white, typically by 60 seconds. Do not read results after 10 minutes.
